PE That Actually Delivers What Your School Needs
PE often ends up as cover, squeezed into the timetable, or handed to non-specialists with limited confidence.
That creates real challenges:
-
Pupils miss out on physical literacy and wider development
-
Staff lack the CPD and subject-specific support they need
-
Leaders struggle to evidence a clear curriculum intent, implementation, and impact
How Activ8 helps solve that
-
Target-led delivery – Every school identifies three core priorities, which shape the planning and delivery of PE across the year. These are revisited in termly review meetings to ensure progress and impact.
-
Qualified, consistent staff – Our team are experienced PE specialists who deliver with consistency and clarity. No cover, no drop-in coaches.
-
Ongoing CPD built in – Every Activ8 staff member receives over 80 hours of annual CPD, ensuring they stay sharp, current, and confident.
-
PE Health Checks & CPD Events – We support subject leaders and wider staff with deep-dive readiness, subject knowledge, and long-term planning.
-
Physical literacy at the core – Our curriculum is about more than sport. It’s about building physically confident, capable, and active learners.
-
Flexible delivery – Choose from half day or full day provision that fits your school’s structure and budget.

"This resource is absolutely amazing! I don't know what I would do without it! I'm a very sporty person and love sport but not the most confident in teaching it; unless it's dance or gymnastics. However, this resource takes you through the lessons step by step, it shows you how to differentiate (which is great for my really able children who are part of clubs outside of school) and it also tells you what you are looking for in terms of assessment. The assessment section literally takes seconds! I love it."

Swim:ED On-Site Primary School Swimming
On-site primary school swimming. Doncaster, Sheffield and Rotherham. Launching September 2026.
Swimming is the only lesson in school that saves lives.
Yet 1 in 4 children leave primary school unable to swim 25 metres. The figure is worse in the most deprived communities.
We see the same challenges in every school: rising transport costs, staffing cover headaches, lost learning time. We want to be part of changing that.
Swim:ED brings a fully-managed pop-up pool to your playground. Fifteen 45-minute lessons across a six-week block per group, in small groups. No transport, no staff leaving site, no risk assessments for travel.
What's included
- Pop-up pool installed and managed on your school site
- Certified swim teachers and qualified lifeguards on every session
- Fifteen 45-minute lessons in a six-week half-term, in small group sizes
- All policies, procedures, risk assessments and insurance covered
- Weekly progress data and assessment reports through the Swim:ED portal
What Swim:ED schools say
"Pupils walked to lessons and were back in class within the hour."
"Our children made excellent progress as a direct result of the Swim:ED programme."
"They are engaging and knowledgeable and have helped improve our swimming offer."
- Headteachers from Swim:ED partner schools (Impact Report 2024/25)
